There is a notice on my computer that Canvas doesn't support the browser I am using?? I have no clue what to do??
Are both Chrome and Safari complaining? Have you checked your browser software and made sure it's up to date? Here's a page that explains how to update Chrome. Safari is updated as part of the operating system; here's a page about how to update software on your mac.

First, do these two things for me right now...Step 1: Take a breath, and Step 2: Smile Let's see what can be done to work this out. Are you able to determine what Web browser you are using? Here is a list from the Canvas Support Guides, regarding what web browsers are supported for accessing Canvas.
