I am trying to import or export a previous syllabus on canvas for the semester how do I do that
It's a pleasure to make your virtual acquaintance, here in our Canvas Community!
There are a few ways to achieve this.
Specifically though, you could copy the content from point "A" to point "B".
Please view this document, from the Canvas Support Guide to do just that:
Kindly recall to "Select specific content" and then choose the syllabus.
First however, if you don't have one already, I would recommend creating a "development" shell or sandbox shell and store all iterations of your syllabi in a module. From there, you could make any necessary changes and import it into your "production" or "live" shell. Typically, it's better to move the finished product, then to move it and fix it there
I hope this is helpful. Please don't hesitate to let us know, how else we may best serve and support you!
Again, NICE to meet you!
Have a SUPER Day!
Oh! I almost forgot one thing Adriannah
When moving things over, its intuitive to start from the source point to the destination (even I used the point "a" to point "b" idiom). However for Canvas, one actually starts in the destination, and "pulls" the package--from the source.
If that's confusing, I'm sorry...It's me, not Canvas!
Let me know if you should need further assistance
Have a SUPER, SUPER day!
