SCORM: Problem with playing videos in Safari

Hello,

 

we are using Articulate Storyline 360 as authoring tool and create SCORM packages which we then integrate into Canvas via SCORM LTI.
Until recently all videos which we had integrated into our slides in the SCORM packages worked fine in all browsers. Now - and we cannot pinpoint what has changed (no major update or anything on articulate, safari is the latest version...) - the videos in all newly created SCORM packages are not playing in Safari anymore. They are playing fine in firefox, chrome etc. (also the old files are all playing fine but when I reupload them they aren't...)
We did tests with the Articulate storyline support and tested our SCORM files in the Scorm Cloud environment where they were all working great in Safari.
Canvas L2 tech support couldn't help but maybe anyone here has experienced a similar problem if not the same and could give some advice or opinion on what could be wrong?
