Hi, I'm a student taking a summer course for American Sign Language 2 online. I'm trying to complete one of the assignments that requires recording, but the camera seems to have issues. It gives me a white blank screen and I try to change it to the webcam: no video to HP wide Vision, but still nothing shows up. Also, I made sure the ecampus website was allowed to use my camera, microphone, and sound. Please respond, I'm not sure what is going on. Please contact me asap.
Destiny, I'm sorry to hear that you're experiencing this issue. A couple of questions - Does your camera work outside of Canvas? And, have you tried switching Internet browsers (Firefox or even Edge) or even using your phone and the Canvas app?
If none of this works, then I'd contact Canvas Support (and your teacher). To contact support click on the Help link in Canvas and "Report a Problem."
