Can I upload a Rubric into assignments?
Hi Cheryl Covey - I am assuming that you mean a quick way to upload an existing rubric in a way that Canvas would "accept" it as a rubric so that you can grade from it in SpeedGrader so that you do not have to create it "from scratch" in the way outlined here: 4152,724129 Unfortunately, the answer is "no," although the brilliant James Jones created a program that can do this, which is outlined here: Importing Rubrics from a Spreadsheet . So while you would still have to transfer your rubric to a spreadsheet first, you can then upload it rather than doing it within the Canvas interface. (You can also still vote on the Feature Idea that James links to at the top of his document: Allow Importing of Rubrics from csv Format .
If you do not care about using the SpeedGrader/Canvas rubric to grade from, you can of course just simply upload anything as an attachment to an assignment, including a rubric that you have as a PDF or Word document. You will not, however, be able to grade from that, however....so I suspect what you're after is what is covered in the previous paragraph.
I hope this helps a bit, Cheryl.
