I need to change documents under "Course Documents" but I see no edit button. How do I change documents?
Are you trying to edit things within a Canvas course? What is your role in the course? Can you attach a screen shot of what you're seeing?
I think I worked it out. I needed to update some files under "Course Docments." However, I didn't see an "edit" function for replacing them. So I added the updated files to "Files" and then added them to the "Course Docs" page and deleted the old one. Is that the way to do it?

"Course Documents" is a content area within the Blackboard Learning Management System (LMS), not the Canvas LMS where that area is called "Files", and you have asked your question about Blackboard, in the Canvas Community.
Is your school transitioning from Blackboard to Canvas and you just selected the wrong place to ask, or is it a case of confusing jargon? I suspect the former, because you stated that you "added them to the "Course Docs" page".

I'm all set thanks.
I'm not sure, since "Course Documents" is not really a standard part of Canvas courses.
If it's a module within the "Modules" area or a page within "Pages" that has attached files which were previously uploaded to the course, you should be able to find the old files in the "Files" area and replace them there while preserving the original links. As long as they have the same name, you'll be prompted to replace the old files, as described in the "Replace Duplicate File" section of
How do I upload a file to a course?
But you can also just edit the module/page itself like you did, and link to the new files.
