how can I set up a quiz to have each test be varied - that no student is going to see the same set of questions
Hi Margaret Conway-Orgel
As the great James Jones will happily tell you, and with the math to prove it, this could be very challenging and the challenge increases as the numbers of students increase, but you can set a quiz to randomly draw questions from question banks so that each student is delivered essentially a different test. But as I hinted, in order for everyone to get a completely different test, you is gonna need a rather large question bank.
Anyways, you can learn how at How do I create a quiz with a question group to randomize quiz questions?
This is really an easy process with the only hard part being the development of large question pools. If you have been able to upload item banks provided by your textbook publisher, you can typically get a large pool of items.
