Remove SIS Import affiliation

I have a course where I can remove users from the course, but the teacher cannot.

However, the permissions for Teachers in the sub-account say that they can add/remove users. I think the problem is that the users were brought in via an SIS Import.  I can’t find a setting to fix this. When I’ve run into this before, I deleted and re-enrolled via the API, and that removed the SIS constraint, but that’s not working. As best I can tell, we need to set the sis_import_id to null.

This feels like a really dumb question. Hopefully, it has a simple answer that doesn't involve lots of manual work.

So, this works if I delete an enrollment and then enroll the user in another role, but if I enroll them in the same role, it's treated as the same enrollment.

I guess a solution is to create a new section and enroll in that.
