My school changed everyone's Google accounts. When I tried to submit a Google doc in Canvas, only things from my old Google account show up. How can I update which Google account I want Canvas to use?
Good afternoon, Kellie Fleurijean Welcome to the Canvas Community. Thanks for posting your question. I *think* this might work...but not 100% sure. When you are logged in to Canvas, navigate to "Account" >> "Settings". Scroll down the page a bit, and you should see a section called "Approved Integrations". Look for a line that is similar to "Google Drive LTI IAD-Prod". Do you have a trash can icon to the right of the expiration date and "Last Used" information in that row? If so, I think you can delete this line from your account. Then, I believe you would want to go back to your assignment in your course (or if you have a "Google Drive" button on your course navigation) to re-authorize your connection to Google from inside of Canvas. See the information under "Delete Access Token" here: How do I manage API access tokens as a student?
Another thing you can try, also on your "Settings" page, is to look under your "Web Services" information. Is Google Drive listed under "Registered Services" or "Other Services"? If it is listed under "Registered Services", then you should be able to click on the red "x" icon next to it to remove it. It should then show up under "Other Services". Then, you could, hopefully, re-connect to Google with your other account.
I hope one of these things might be of help to you, Kellie. Please sing out if you have any questions about the above information...thanks!
