In Blackboard I could listen to my lectures at different speeds. I could use 1.5, 2 ext. Can I do that using Canvas??
Hello there, Kevin Krieg...
I am reviewing older questions here in the Community, and I came across your question. I am sorry to see that your question has been sitting out here unanswered since August 24, 2019. It appears as though you may have stumped the Community with your question. And, as I read through your question, I could not think of anywhere that I've seen in Canvas that would allow you to manually speed up/slow down audio/video. (Though, maybe someone else knows of a way to do this? I've been wrong before.) Have you been able to find any solutions on your own that you'd be willing to share back here in this topic? Or, are you still looking for some help with this question? We'd like to hear back from you either way. For the time being, I am going to mark your question as "Assumed Answered" because we haven't heard back from you and because there hasn't been any new activity in this topic for over four months. However, that won't prevent you or others from posting additional question and/or comments below that are related to this topic. I hope that's okay with you. Looking forward to hearing back from you soon, Kevin.
It must be developed in each course. My new course I am able to run the videos at 1.5 or 2X speeds. I don't know why the videos for the previous course were not set up the same. It is very helpful to me when you want to re-listen to a course and can do it faster and slow down on the parts you want.
Thanks for your response. Since my classes start on the 13th, I have not been in my UC email recently.
