Why is "Course Status, Unpublish/Published" block missing from one of my courses?

On only one of my courses, the block that should appear in the upper right corner of my front page does not have the Course Status block.  Why is that?  How can I restore it?

The Publish/Unpublish options on the heme page will disappear once students have begun interacting with the course.  Once students have interacted with the course you cannot unpublish it.

OK, but I have another course with an interaction that still has that course status section.  It's just above the list of links that starts with "Import from Commons," etc., on the upper right side.

I think it's something screwy with my front page but I don't know what that might be.

Hi  @drs02040 

Per this guide How do I publish a course? ,

"Once your course contains a graded submission, you can no longer unpublish your course."

 After you have graded any student permission, that block will disappear along with your opportunity to unpublish the course.
