I made a mistake

After editing all of the assignments, i made a mistake and imported assignments from a previous year and i lost all the work i had done in editing the current year.

is there a way to retrieve my work?

There may be a chance that your work was "archived" in your beta or test space. [yourinstitution].beta.instructure.com may have a copy of your initial material that you can download (How do I export a Canvas course?‌) and then import into your current class (How do I import a Canvas course export package?‌)

Your local Canvas Support may be able to help you do this as well.
