Hi Hunter I'm wondering if it is a browser incompatibility.
Check your device compatibility: What are the basic computer specifications for Canvas? Check your browser compatibility: Which browsers does Canvas support?
Note that *Internet Explorer 11 is not a supported browser.*Try a different browser. The latest version of Chrome works great in both Windows and MacOS.If none of these methods solve the problem, contact Canvas Support. General instructions are in How do I get help with Canvas as a student? , but your school’s support setup might vary somewhat, in which case ask your local IT Department for additional troubleshooting assistance.
Sing out if you need a hand.
So, I have gotten the same issue with Safari, Firefox, Edge, Chrome and Opera on Mac, iOS devices, Android, Windows and Linux. This is not a browser issue from my investigating. From looking at Baylors website, they have experienced this and have pointed possibly to Shibboleth. When I did a view of the page in question, I noticed several several errors that failed to execute on the Canvas side. I would ride Canvas support on this one to dig deeper.
Scott , I replied to your comment elsewhere about this: please submit a ticket to Canvas Support reporting the behavior you've described here (How do I get help with Canvas as an instructor?, or follow the school's defined support pathway).
