I find this group system in canvas rather counter intuitive and tedious to use. I tried to have the students make groups themselves but the only groups they were able to form were so called "student groups" which I for some strange reason cant even grade...So then I had to add the students to groups manually. Later more students joined the course, but now I cant add any more students to the groups that I created myself...System tells me that I will wipe all data in the process of adding another member to the group(!!!). Is there any way to overcome this or do I have to do it the old fashioned way and just stop using canvas?? This has been a complete waste of time in a very busy part of the year. Not happy!
