Whenever a student sends an email I receive the email notification twice. How can I correct this?
Check your notification settings to see if perhaps you have two email address set up. If you see two columns for two email addresses, that could be what is causing it.

This time I have a different problem:
Our university assigns you two emails,one with the name (like johnsmith@....) , one with the numbers (js12345@...) They are basically the same emails. the one with the number seems the main email on canvas, I cannot delete it, ever. The other one is optional. If I add it, I receive 2 emails, when my students send me an email. If I delete that optional email, I cannot respond to their emails. Any recommendations?
