Can I remove Missing labels as a batch?

Can I remove Missing labels as a batch? I know how do do them individually in the Grade Detail Tray, but would like to change the labels to "none" all at once (for 200 students), Is that possible?

Welcome to the Canvas Community! 

If the students did not actually submit anything, you can change the Submission Type to No Submission and this will remove the "missing" label and color.

I just tried that and it's still showing up as missing in their gradebook. ???

When I changed my assignment to "no submission" it did delete all the missing tags - however, I am hesitant to do that if students had submitted work via the textbook - I don't want to accidentally delete the work students did do while trying to remove missing tags from the ones who didn't do the work.
