I receive an error when useing the android phone app

net::ERR_CLEARTEXT_NOT_PERMITTED .

I just started using the Canvas Student app on my Note 8. I run my android update abd the above error started. Can any one please help me fix it??

If I was to guess the issue involves the andriod browser not allowing a not secure site.

Historically the Canvas Student apps are hit or miss with LTIs and that's more of the architecture of mobile apps (especially on iOS) rather than the LTI itself. Even though the non-secure site error could be the issue, I wouldn't doubt it something with the LTI and the app not behaving well together. Have you tried this on an iOS app?
