I have used canvas for a campus in the past but am taking a class on a different campus and my new class is not showing. What do I do to fix this?
Hi Gabrielle Rafert and welcome to the Community! While there are a couple of reasons a course might not appear, such as registration for the class not being formally completed and that data passed along to Canvas, the vast majority of time a class is not appearing on your dashboard it is because the instructor has not yet published the course. Until the course itself is published, it will not appear on your dashboard.
The best way to check this would be to either contact someone with admin rights to Canvas at your institution to have them verify this is the case, contact the course instructor, or contact someone with Canvas Support (see How do I get help with Canvas as a student?). Support could view your account and see if a course is there, but unpublished.
