How do I find out what my Canvas email account is?

My professor just asked me to send him an email through my Canvas email account that is not, for example, gmail, yahoo, and so forth. I found an email account in my Canvas account settings I didn't even know I had so I tried logging into that account, but it's not working for me. I don't know what my professor means by my canvas email account because previous to this class, I've only ever used my gmail account to send emails to my professors.

Hi Kailey,
Your professor may have meant that they wanted to send you a message via the Canvas Inbox, there is a guide on how to achieve this here How do I send a message to a user in a course in the Inbox as a student?.
If your professor meant through your NVSD email address you would need to reach out to your school support for how to regain access to that email account. I found that they have a contact link on their homepage Home - Naches Valley School District.
