Good evening, Melinda Bly Welcome to the Canvas Community. Thank you for posting your question. I'm not sure if you realized this or not, but you have posted your question in the global Canvas Community website where people from all over the globe come to ask questions, suggest new Feature Ideas, collaborate with others, write blog posts, review "how to" tutorials and videos, and a whole lot more...all about Canvas. Unfortunately, the vast majority of people here in the Community wouldn't be able to help answer your question because we do not have access to your course(s) or your school's Canvas environment. Assuming that you are a student, I would recommend that you reach out to either your school's local Canvas administrator or your instructor to see where to find this information/course. You can contact your instructor by following the information in this Guide: How do I get help with Canvas as a student?
I hope this information will be of help to you, Melinda. Please let Community members know if you have any other questions about this...thanks.
Hi, Melinda, Chris has given you great information (thanks, Chris!). From what you've described, it sounds like you have found the course in your All Courses list but it's not yet available for participation or "favoriting" to add it to the Dashboard. The most likely reason for this is that the school hasn't yet made the course available to students or the instructor hasn't published it, so please reach out to the course instructor for additional guidance.
Good evening, Melinda Bly
