My instructor is having an issue with the quizzes. She says that after she sets up the quiz and students take it she is getting this message. see attached. is this something new?
Vartouhi, normally the only time that message comes up is if the instructor goes in and changes something after the students (or even one student) has started taking a quiz. As far as I'm aware this isn't something new. I'd double check with the instructor about whether or not they are going in and making any changes at all to the quiz questions after the quiz has started.
I met with the instructor... checked quiz 3 (a new quiz) and opened it for the students. The instructor did not change anything in the quiz and the message is back on... Why? this was not happening before. I have seen this message on 2 other courses where instructors did not change anything.
I have been seeing this message in our quizzes too and nobody has been making any changes. It sounds like a bug to me and a support ticket needs to be created. I'm glad to know that I'm not going crazy!
I experienced this issue as well, but Canvas support says that they have not heard of this issue from others.
If anyone can replicate the issue, please submit a ticket!
I repeatedly have this issue; I check and double check that the quiz saved and later when I log on from another computer, I see a "save it now" feature. Canvas just keeps saying use another browser even though I am using one they support or clear my cache but to me, this seems like a glitch in Canvas that needs fixed. When you click save, you expect it to save and should not have to do another series of steps to make sure it saves. I see this issue has been happening since 2015 and still is not fixed.
