Enrolling in a class group discussion

How do I sign-up for a particular group discussion within my class?

Hi  @asjenki2  Welcome to the Canvas Community. From the way you asked your question, the first step sounds like it will be to join a group that your instructor has set up for the class.  There is information on that here: How do I join a group as a student?   Once you join a group, you will--from that point forward--see it available in Canvas from the Groups button on the far left side, where you can then see a Discussions menu link.  If you have to also start a Discussion within your group, there is information here: How do I create a discussion in a group?  

If your instructor has it the Discussion as a group assignment, however, you can also see it directly from the the Discussion prompt itself if the instructor posted one.  You may need to contact your instructor directly for additional clarification (Help>>Ask Your Instructor a Question) but hopefully this is enough to get you started!
