How do I log out of Canvas from a desktop computer?

How do I log out of Canvas from a desktop computer? The log off button does not appear in global navigation.

 @benmide ‌, the logout button should show once you click on "Account" and then in the popout window under the picture or you or the avatar it should have the button there.
