how do i extend the deadline for submission of an assignment for one student?

Hi Buran,

To give a different due date to a specific student, you'd use "+Add" within the assignment to add another assignment due date just to that specific student:

Please see https://community.canvaslms.com/docs/DOC-9973-4152101242 . Be careful that you do not remove the "Everyone" or "Everyone Else" Assign to setting or the rest of the class will be unassigned.
