I noticed when publishing a SCORM file in Canvas, the resulting URL seems to be publicly accessible. Is this correct or am I doing something wrong? Is there a way to ensure that only logged-in users are able to access the URL?
We use SCORM but I just tested this and the actual SCORM link generates an error (see screenshot) when I went directly there. For the course I tested, we have self-enroll enabled so people can enroll themselves into the course.
Do you have open registration set on your account level? Also, are you using SCORM Cloud or some other third party tool?
Thanks for your reply. The SCORM file is just uploaded directly into Canvas and set as an Assessment. No third-party tools have been used and there is no self-enrolment. I've sent the link to external people to look at and they can all access without a Canvas login. Really strange!
