I would like an easy way to transfer a student from one course to another. Transfer of her grades and content is not necessary, but I need student attached to the correct course.

Student is in one course, but needs to be in a a different section-same course. I have searched in Canvas for answered questions but could not find an easy fix.

Hi @aheymann ,
Depending on your institution settings you might be able to click on "People" then find the student in question and click on the three dot and select "Remove From Course" then head over to the correct course and select "People" then "+People" to enroll the student in that course which will send them an invitation to accept before they have access to the course.
If you don't have access to any of the above then the best option would be to click on "Help" then select "Report a problem" or contact your institutions Tech support as they will have access to your courses and can provide better guidance to you.
