combining two sections into one

How do I combine two course sections into a single course so do not have to repeat everything.

If you have the correct permissions to do so, here is a guide page with the steps.  https://community.canvaslms.com/docs/DOC-12983-4152718703 By default instructors can usually do this but I do know that some schools limit the ability.
