I am going to refer you to the Quizzes Chapter of the Canvas Instructor Guide.
Essentially.........
- Go to Quizzes,
- Click the +Quiz button,
- Give your quiz a name, and start adding setting and questions.
However, there are so many options available with quizzes, that I strongly recommend going through that guide chapter.
I see that your school is transitioning from Blackboard to Canvas, and suspect that there is training and support available for faculty during this transition. I found the following support link at University of Cincinnati:
