How do I create a practice shell for a new instructor?

@nlaskiewicz , greetings! Some schools automate this process, but for us, we create a course manually and then add the Instructor to the new shell. Here are directions on how to create the course - How do I add a course in an account as an admin? And then, you can add the teacher to the course using either of these directions - How do I add users to a course? or https://community.canvaslms.com/docs/DOC-14244-4214857203 (go down to the "Manage Course" heading and it's #3).

Hello Nicholas,At my institution, that's something you would request from your Canvas Admins. We often have instructors and employees ask for "Sandboxes" where they can construct courses or simply experiment with features.I hope that helps!
