auto scrolling down in modules

I have a teacher who says every time he goes to modules, it automatically scrolls down to the bottom. He's using Chrome as his browser. Is there a way to adjust this so when he click on modules it stays at the top?

Hope you are well. Thanks for sharing your question. It's an odd behavior you've described.

• First, I would make sure the instructor is using a supported browser and is updated.
  Which browsers does Canvas support? 

• They can also try an alternate browser to see if it happens with other browsers.
• Check device compatibility: https://community.canvaslms.com/docs/DOC-10721-what-are-the-basic-computer-specifications-for-canvas 
• Also if using a Mac, you may want to check if hot corners is enabled which might be causing the issue.
