Setting up my peeps for Zoom LTI Pro- config help!

Hi all!

I am the Instructional Designer (somewhat techie) and I also inherited the role of Configuration. I having trouble setting up the zoom LTI configuration and adding the other peeps. All of the instructions seem quite obtuse and ummm...muddy. I know that someone out there knows how to do this!. 

HOPING I CAN

Set up the initial LTI Pro App at the University level (with my professional account) and then add the seven departmental accounts as additional options/ credentials. I have set up the initial APP config, but I am not at all sure how to then identify the 7 email address that are the faculty pro accounts. 

HOPING I DONT HAVE TO:

Create a separate LTI Zoom APP for each department- UGH.

This is the documentation that does not actually tell you how to do it. It talks about it, but does not reveal any specifics on how the users are set up. I will keep looking. Thanks though.

I just set mine up over the last couple of days for my institution and I may be able to help, though I will first provide the disclaimer that I am by no means an expert. Here's what I believe:

The LTI installed system-wide works based on a single pro account. The configuration that you set affects Canvas through the pro Zoom account. Therefore all the accounts that use it must be licensed users within that account. Once they are, they will be able to activate Zoom in their classes and sign in no problem. (I say this because in order to install the LTI you have to have admin access to the Zoom account, though I could be completely wrong).It sounds like in your case your faculty are not users within a single account so I believe rather than setting the LTI up at the Canvas system level it will need to be set up at the course level for those individual instructors who want to use it.

I would recommend contacting Zoom, explaining to them your situation, and seeing what they suggest. (Then share what you find out.)

Yeah- the issue is that they all have multiple accounts. I need to get them pulled under one Uber admin first.
