How Instructors Deal with Multiple Accounts?

What if there are two registered accounts of students in the "people" section, how should I deal with that? I can't remove any of them since I'm not sure which between them is the active account.

 @rkmcsbatangas20  , I apologize that no one has yet responded to your question, and I am hopeful that by now you have arrived at a solution on your own. If you haven't, please let us know so our members can assist. Are you a teacher looking at the People tab of a course, or an admin looking at the People tab for the account?

A few of my students keep reenrolling for each different quiz... now I have multiple accounts with 1 quiz each instead of 1 account with all quizzes? How do I merge them AND keep the quizzes?

 @khan_sajjad ‌, this question has several moving parts. Is this course set up to allow students to self-enroll, and/or does the district also enroll students in courses on your behalf? You might be well served to ask the eLearning department for the district look through the enrollments in your course to help unwind this. This is a free account only used by me, i think. The students were self enrolled, the district has no affiliation?

Ah, thanks for clarifying that: I looked at your email address and thought that your Canvas courses were part of a school's instance. I am not aware of a way that instructors in Free For Teachers can merge users who have created multiple accounts as part of a self-enrollment process. Would you use the Report a Problem option in the Help menu of that course to ask Canvas Support to have a look on your behalf?
