Adding a rubric to assgnments.

Why has the rubric button disappeared from edit assignments view and how do I get it back?

Hi,  @a1007163  Welcome to the Canvas Community! The + Rubric button only displays outside of Edit mode, as depicted in How do I add a rubric to an assignment? ; instructors won't see it while in Edit mode. Just in case the assignment in question is of the external tool type, the + Rubric does not display for external tool submission assignments; changing the assignment submission type away from the external tool will reveal the button.
