Gradebook setting to selectively consider quizzes

In a series of quizzes, can I make Canvas only consider the 5 highest graded quizzes for each student?

This is done with Assignment Groups and rules. Once you have added assignments to your assignment group, you can create rules for the entire assignment group. Assignment group rules determine how Canvas handles any exceptions you want to create for grade calculations. Assignment groups can be weighted or unweighted.

Let's say there are 10 quizzes and the faculty wants to only consider the highest 5 grades for each student. Canvas must select 5 (out of 10) quiz grades for each student separately and only include those 5 in the final grade. This is different for each student. However, Canvas settings are global!
