Scrolling student name next to assignment in grade roster

Hi, I have searched for this answer, but can't find it. Not sure what terms to use.

When I am using Grade Roster, I would like to be able to scroll the assignments closer to the names so I can be sure the grade is for the correct student. It is hard when the assignment is so far away from their name. I saw this on a tutorial for something else, but can't find one for this specific feature. Thanks.
