I am having students do weekly group projects (actually labs in science course) with different groups each week. Over the course of the term there will be 20 groups each week for 10 weeks so 200 groups in all. I created "group sets" for each week, for example "Week 1" with 20 groups in each set. When I view "people" I see a tab for each set but the students don't. I know this is normal for Canvas. The problem is that by the end of the term students will need to scroll though 200 groups to find and join the correct one. Is there any way to have the students see the Group Set tabs or "disable" a group set so it isn't visible after it is used without deleting the completed projects or associated grades.
