I can't find this anwer in the Mobile guides: Can an instructor create a poll on an Android device and have students participate on an IOS device?
I just now tried this as an experiment. I have an Android-based Samsung Galaxy 4s that I used to create a poll. I then logged in as a student (using one of several phony student accounts we have) using an older iPad2. The "student" could TAKE the poll with no issues...so that answer is "yes." However, I found that in order to have up-to-the-second responses on my end as an instructor using my Android device, I had to logout of the poll app and then login again in order for the responses to update. In other words, in both cases that I tried (I logged in as two separate students on the iPad) the poll results never updated in real time. Each time I had to logout and then log back in. So, based on my own experiment here--which is hardly all-inclusive, the answer is a more qualified "yes."
Did the information that Ken Black provided answer the question you had with this issue?
I am going to go ahead and mark this as assumed answered. This will not prevent other users form finding it or from additional comments being added.
