In one of my large classes, I have my students broke up into groups based on their last names. Their due dates for papers are staggered. I have created groups for them. I thought I would be able to assign each group a different due date by using the add feature like you do for assigning different sections different due dates; however, this doesn't work.
I have since realized that the group function here seems to be mostly a collaboration tool for the students. Is this correct? Is there a way to have a group option in the drop down menu for selecting due dates?
Also, when selecting an external source to use turnitin.com, groups is not an option. This for me is not a problem unless setting different due dates for different groups needs to come from this area.
