I feel like I am totally missing how to do this, so hoping someone can help.
I have a teacher who has 3 sections of English 9. He creates a discussion, but only wants the students to participate in the discussion with students in their own section. He has been creating 3 different versions of the same discussion and assigning each to the appropriate section. I had thought we should be able to create one discussion and then use "ASSIGN TO" to "ADD" each of the 3 different sections. The problem with this is that no matter what way I have done it, apparently, students in one section can still see replies from students in other sections. I tried assigning all 3 sections the same due date, then different due dates. Same result. I did not do anything with the available/until dates.
I feel like I am missing something, as the guide referenced below states: Only the section(s) or student(s) specified in the assignment details can view the assignment.
Any ideas? Thank you!
