Does anyone know if you can make teachers or department chairs invisible that want to observe their faculty?
Christine, In general to have access to a course you have to be added to the course (as some type of role) and that would show up to the Instructor. Whether it shows up to the students would depend on if they have the People tab in their course is visible (if so, then the students could see it as well) and even then the person still might show up for the class in the inbox.
About the only thing I can think of is if you have the courses separated into sub-accounts and you then gave the department chair (or whoever) admin level rights in that sub-account. In that case the department chair would have full access to all courses in that sub-account and the Instructor (and students) would have no idea when the person was in observing the course or what they were doing.
