Locking down LTIs

At the recent DET/CHE conference, I heard from many colleges and universities that use Canvas that they "lock down" the list of LTIs that instructors can install at the course level to only those that meet their requirements in terms of security, ADA and FERPA compliance.

There was a presentation about how UCI reviews every LTI by request:

Also: see https://canvas.instructure.com/enroll/8JYPDD to access all materials.

My question is, will the OEI help the CCC's with this process, or will each of us need to review the LTIs separately to determine whether they meet minimum standards in these areas?

Thanks,

Lisa
