Link Validator - False Positives

Hello  All,

I am running the Link Validator tool in my courses and the results seem to include false positives on links pointing to other pages in the course. I have check the links, relinked the pages and continue to get the same results. Below is a picture of the results. As you will see, all the links with false positives will have the "Deleted" tag. Per the Canvas Guides, this tag means the linked content had been deleted from the course. This is even more puzzling, given the links really do work and the pages are in fact in the course. Or maybe I am not understanding what it really means! :-)

This seems to only happen on links to pages. Links to discussions or files do not show up on the report.

Here is a bit of the code on the page with above links, if that will help.

<li><a id="" class="" title="Course Overview" href="/courses/6260/pages/course-overview" target="" data-api-endpoint="" data-api-returntype="Page">Course Overview</a></li>

<li><a id="" class="" title="Course Schedule" href="/courses/6260/pages/course-schedule" target="" data-api-endpoint="" data-api-returntype="Page">Course Schedule</a></li>

<li><a id="" class="" title="Grading Rubrics" href="/courses/6260/pages/grading-rubrics" target="" data-api-endpoint="" data-api-returntype="Page">Grading Rubrics</a></li>

<li><a id="" class="" title="Textbooks and Materials" href="/courses/6260/pages/textbooks-and-materials" target="" data-api-endpoint="" data-api-returntype="Page">Textbooks and Materials</a></li>

<li><a id="" class="" title="Academic Writing Style" href="/courses/6260/pages/academic-writing-style" target="" data-api-endpoint="" data-api-returntype="Page">Academic Writing Style</a></li>

Thanks in advance for any advice or suggestions,

Teri Wright
