We wanted to use the LTI WebEx tool as our default conferencing tool, in replacing of the default Canvas Conferences tool. Is there an easy or hacky way to disable the Conferences by default?
Under the Permissions tab, there is a setting for Create Web Conferences. You can set that to "no" to prevent people from accessing it. Also, you may want to check with Webex to see how their tool actually integrates. We use AdobeConnect and it integrates through the Conference tab.
Which WebEx LTI Tool are you using?
We used a CSS or JS override to get rid of the "Conferences" tool as our faculty do not want to have it in the list since we have WebEx
We are giving the Canvas Admins area a little bit of love (especially questions that are really, really old) and just want to check in with you. This will also bring this question new attention.
