Fixed width font in the rich text editor

As a programming instructor, presenting code to my students is essential. Code doesn't look right with a variable width font like Arial. Compare this:

for (int i = 0; i < 10; i++) {

   print("%d\n", i);

}

to this:

for (int i = 0; i < 10; i++) {

  print("%d\n", i);

}

In programming, a fixed width font is strongly preferred.

Is it possible to get a fixed width font in Canvas's rich text editor? So far I don't see how to get anything but Arial.

If it isn't possible, is it possible to make a suggestion to someone who can change it?
