I would like to drop out of a current class and cannot figure out how to do this - any help would be greatly appreciated. I am going to attempt this class again when my time is not so limited.
Hello Karen Fulks...
You have posted this question in the Canvas Community website...a place where Canvas users from around the world come to ask questions about the Canvas LMS (Learning Management System). Since your question is so specific about wanting to be removed from a course you are taking, not many people will be able to help you on this site. You will want to reach out to your school's Registration department, your instructor, or someone who works with your school's instance of Canvas on a daily basis to see if they can help you.
Sorry that I cannot be of more help.
Many people have asked this question Chris. We'd a appreciate a better response.
I too am still "enrolled" in Canvas for a course that finished last year. How do I remove it from my dashboard?
I don't want to bother my professor and I don't know who at my school administrates Canvas.
Unfortunately, no one on here has anything to do with your school. For example, I work for the University of the Pacific and Chris works for Moraine Park, so neither of us can control the enrollments in Stanford's copy of Canvas.
If you're afraid to reach out to your professor, I'd suggest reaching out to the Help Desk for Stanford. This site seems like the place to start: HelpSU - Stanford Help Request System
If you're not actually concerned about enrollments, and just want to customize your dashboard to match your current classes, here's the instructions: How do I customize my Courses list?
