I have a teacher that says she was previously able to hover over the Quiz Summary chart bars and see how many students scored that % and what that % was. I have been unable to reproduce this. Does anyone know if this is possible?
The quiz statistics did once display vertical bars in the summary of each question, showing the percentage of students who chose each of the possible answers. Hovering over a bar would display the actual number of students (rather than percentage) who gave that answer. Is this what your teacher is referring to?
In the recent production release, the layout was changed so that the bars are now horizontal rather than vertical. Each bar now has text next to it saying, for example, "2 respondents" so that you no longer have to hover to see the number - it is always displayed on the screen. Additionally, clicking on that text will display the names of the actual students who gave that response. See my attached screenshot for an example of how it looks now.
I am the teacher Jane was asking the question for. I was asking about the bar score percentile chart at the top of the page above the individual questions and statistics. The bar chart used to let you hover over the bars and it would tell you exactly how many students score a specific percentile on the entire test. I use this data for my Student Learning Outcomes report and need this information. The individual question statistics are not useful to me and can be downloaded into an excel document from the top of the page by the chart.
