Course Components not Visible using Remote Desktop

I have recently received a query from an academic working from home using remote desktop. She is using remote desktop to access her work computer, on which she is accessing Canvas. She currently cannot view the following course components:





When she tries to access these she sees a blank screen, with no error message. Other parts of the course such as syllabus and modules are accessible.


My best guess is that access to these parts of the course via remote desktop has been intentionally disabled for security reasons but I cannot find any concrete information on this or in fact on anything to do with using canvas via remote desktop.


Does anyone have any information on this?
