Number of students in one course?

My university is moving to Canvas and we've all been encouraged to check it out and test courses. Well I started asking questions and was informed that the maximum supported grade book entries is 2000. That seems awfully limiting to me. We are moving from Sakai and that was not an issue I knew of. It also helped that the grade book only showed 100 listings at once per page, unlike Canvas.

Is there anyone out there with more than that and how is Canvas working for you? 200 hundred students with just 10 quizzes or assignments puts you right at the maximum. 500 students, just 4 assignments...

We currently have a class of 2300 and one of 1300 with 40-80 quizzes in each course. What happens if we have 10,000, 50,000 or 100,000 entries? I don't care if the only way I can see the grades is by exporting them, as long as students can see their individual grades when they click on it.

Thanks!
