If we find that the integration is not working as show or expected from this video, where do we look for support to troubleshoot?
My advice would be to open a support case.
Hello Katie Bradford...
I have a question about the "Office Add-In" section you covered around the 13-minute mark of your session. As an admin for our Canvas account, I was trying this in my own O365 account, and documents are submitted flawlessly. My question is...when I'm in my O365 account and go to my OneDrive screen to open up a Word document, it seems I still need to go to the "Insert" tab and then click the "Office Add-ins" button, and then click on the Canvas Assignment Submissions add-in that I've already added (listed under "MY ADD-INS") so that the menu of courses I'm enrolled in as a student shows up on the right side of the screen (as shown at around the 14 minute 20 second mark of the video). (If I close that document and open up another Word document on my account, that Canvas Assignment menu pops up automatically on the right.) However, if I sign out of my O365 account and then sign back in later in the day, I have to go through the "Insert" tab again to be able to see the Canvas Assignment submission stuff on the right side of the screen. Is this the intended functionality? Is there something I'm missing?
Be sure to watch the entire GOOGLE LTI series, hosted by Canvas Trainer Nicholas Demas.
Go to your PROFILE > REWARDS > scroll and click "Available Quests" tab to learn more about completing this quest!
(What is the Canvas Community Reward System?)
I tried to find this LTI series quest but it seems to have disappeared. Or is it my eyes?
Bobby, your eyes do not deceive you; that quest is no longer active. Quests are deactivated for various reasons, depending on the timeliness and relevance of the underlying linked content.
