I would like to address a concern regarding the filtering of search results based on course names. Currently, we are limited to using the "course name" attribute as the main filter for course searching, which proves to be inconvenient. There is a potential issue of having multiple courses with identical or similar names, leading to confusion among users.
To mitigate this problem, I strongly recommend including the "Course SIS ID" as an additional attribute for filtering. The Course SIS ID serves as the most reliable and unique identifier for courses, ensuring accurate and precise search results. By incorporating this identifier into our search functionality, we can enhance the user experience and avoid any potential confusion that may arise from similar course names.
I believe this improvement will greatly benefit our users and contribute to a more efficient and user-friendly system.
